3,600 Downloads of SOS Webpages

September 15th, 2009

SOS WebpagesOur Simple Open Source WebPage management system passed another milestone. SourceForge recorded download number 3,600 recently. SOS Webpages is the fun and easy way to manage a website. It is an open source website management system developed by HandsomeWeb. The goal of the project is to produce a system that is intuitive for users without any knowledge or desire to learn about coding, image resizing, code compliance, browser compatibility, etc. It is an easy to use content management system.

Tinkering with this application I developed is what I do for fun. There are plenty of people using the software to manage their websites, with a big following in the Netherlands (It translates to Dutch with one click.). If you are handy in English and another language and would like to do the translation for me, let me know. Note: This is an open source project, and I am not looking to pay someone to do this.

HandsomeWeb on XBOX Live

April 26th, 2009

Well, one of my kids has an Xbox 360, and I got a little time on it to play Tetris and Pac Man.

So, as I wait for DNS updates on some new sites, I fiddled with this little XBox thing.

Favorite: Remember the Milk

June 25th, 2008

I’ll make a list of my favorite Internet Sites.  “Remember the Milk.” is my first “Favorite.”  This online to do list is a life saver for me. I even sync it with the task list on my Blackjack II. It is integrated in Google Calendar, so if I set a deadline, it appears there too.  I organize by function, the prioritize, create deadlines, etc.  I can email my tasks to it, and much more.

I especially like the cute cow.
